Manufacturing tools: 3D printing is used to create custom jigs, fixtures, and molds for manufacturing processes, reducing lead times and costs compared to traditional manufacturing methods.

End-use tooling: In some cases, 3D printed tools can be directly used in production, especially for low-volume or customized parts.

FOR END-USE PARTS

Lightweight components: 3D printing enables the creation of complex, lightweight components with intricate designs that would be difficult or impossible to manufacture using traditional methods. This can lead to improved fuel efficiency and vehicle performance.  

Customized parts: 3D printing allows for the production of highly customized parts, such as personalized interior components or bespoke exterior elements, catering to individual preferences and needs. 
 
Spare parts: 3D printing can be used to produce spare parts on-demand, reducing downtime and logistics costs, especially for older or discontinued models.
